Megan + Jason | Engagement

I've known Megan for a few years now, and I can't begin to tell you how excited I am that she's getting married! She and I used to work together at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Ky. She's a die hard UK fan, so the UK gear was a must for her engagement photos. Her hubby to be, Jason, is originally from Pittsburgh, so he insisted on getting to wear Steelers Jerseys. Being a Steelers fan myself, I was happy to shoot it! Looking forward to shooting their September wedding here in Louisville!

Christy + Jonathan | Wedding

Here it is folks, the most unique wedding I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of. Originally I wanted to have this one posted for Halloween, but I've been swamped! As you may or may not know, I also work for Boudoir Louisville, and this is our busiest season! This is actually how I met Christy. She was a client of ours two years ago at the studio, getting a Christmas present done for the man you'll see in these pics! Guess he really liked the book and decided she was a keeper!
But really, this couple is one that could serve as inspiration to us all. They're absolutely lovely, and I consider it an honor to have been a part of their big day!

The wedding was held on the set of Dracula at the Actor's Theatre in Downtown Louisville. After the ceremony, we headed to Millanova Winery for a full costume themed reception! The bride and groom kept their costume a secret until they arrived. Every detail was carefully planned out with a candy bar, photo booth along with a scrapbooking table,... and what kooky reception would be complete without Tarot Card readers?! Also, nice touch by the Best Man to have his speech rhyme like a Dr.Seuss book to go with his costume!

Okay, switching gears now. The guests and family members all left for the 'intermission'. The wedding was held at 11:00am, with the reception to follow just outside of Louisville, Ky at 6:00pm. It was like an entirely different event!
